Insight Manager
We're seeking an Insight Manager to improve data processes, own Power BI reporting, integrate data sources, and deliver actionable insights and driving collaboration with Morrisons!
- Job Title: Insight Manager
- Level & Responsibility: This role is at the Manager level acting as the primary point of contact with the Morrisons Insight Team, building a relationship to enhance our offerings. This role might be better known as Data Analytics Manager/Lead in other businesses.
- Salary: £43k+ per annum, depending on experience plus a 10% bonus scheme

Location & Hybrid Working: Leeds or Bradford-based, hybrid 2 days a week in the office
The role
Build efficiencies and improve data processes that enable the insight team to run analyses faster and more accurately with more depth in data. To manage and further develop our data reporting suite, enabling our internal team's access to cleaner and faster insight that adds value to the partnership offering. To build & develop a strong collaboration and working relationship with partnership stakeholders in order to further advance our insight & evaluation proposition by identifying new opportunities to grow our data capabilities with sources such as media performance data, customer data, & additional EPOS metrics.

Why you?

- Strong technical background and experience, particularly with SQL and Power BI.
- Proven experience in data management, visualisation, and automation.
- Strong ability to create insightful and data-led presentations and confidently present findings back to external stakeholders
- Ability to manage relationships with external partners and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Experience in e-commerce metrics and standardisation is a plus.
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.

What you'll be doing

- Lead Power BI Reporting: Streamline and enhance critical media insights, enabling data-driven decisions across teams, and ensuring consistency by integrating separate data sources and standardizing key metrics.
- Drive Data Visualisation & Automation: Implement efficient, standardized reporting formats and automate frequently used templates to save time and improve consistency.
- Manage Data & Compliance: Ensure reliable data accuracy, manage GDPR risks, and refine data processes for continuous improvement.
- E-commerce Expertise & Integration: Oversee Morrisons’ Google Analytics data, integrating it with other sources to enhance e-commerce metrics and reduce manual effort.
- Build Strategic Relationships: Act as the primary contact with the Morrisons Insight Team, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices to strengthen offerings.
- Actionable Insights & Process Innovation: Support strategic decisions with data insights, continuously drive innovation by exploring new trends, and improve process efficiency across teams.
