Join SMG’s Central Media team as a Senior Paid Social Executive! Lead, optimise, and deliver high-performing paid social campaigns across our Boots Media Group partnership.
Location: London, every other Thursday in office
Salary: From £40,000 + 10% discretionary bonus

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Paid Social Executive to join our Central Media team at SMG. In this role, you will work as a digital specialist within the central SMG media team and be responsible for activating paid social media campaigns across our Boots Media Group Partnership. You will have ownership of campaigns, and their activation, optimisation and troubleshooting, focusing on the delivery and performance.

A Little Bit About You
You’ll bring:
- Experience of media buying (Social essential, programmatic advantageous).
- Essential platform experience (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok).
- Familiarity with digital performance metrics.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks across multiple projects and agencies
- Experience in a growing FMCG, retail, or media environment (preferable).

What You’ll Be Doing
Your days will be dynamic. You might find yourself:
Campaign activation and management
- End to end ownership of campaigns, including activation,pacing, optimisation and reporting.
- Follow best practice and SMG frameworks, with campaign responsibilities including but not limited to troubleshooting, conversion tracking build, preview link creation, campaign build, 1PD audience push, activation, pacing, performance, optimisation and campaign reporting.
- Identify areas of improvement, leading to cost, performance or resource efficiencies, within the campaign process.
- Interact with planning, insights, and client teams as necessary on campaign ideation, campaign planning, booking process, and provide them with regular updates on campaign performance, optimisation, and improvement opportunities.
- Work with the planning team on 1PD briefs, assisting with decisioning across audience, platforms, and ad tech.
Reporting
- Mid campaign and end of campaign reporting.
- Working with planning, insights, and digital media managers assist with PCA creation and delivery.
- Alongside, senior team members, attend client calls where necessary.
Innovation
- Alongside the digital media manager, discover new platforms and partnership opportunities.
- Help with platform onboarding and any technical implementations.
- Offer support to the wider media team as required, helping with related queries and wider team responsibilities.
- Keep pace with industry trends and proactively support with driving forward new opportunities and propositions.
