The role
Following our successful appointment by a US leading national grocer to launch and operate their Retail Media Network (RMN), we're looking for a Digital Media Manager who will be a core part of the team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a new suite of advertising products that leverage the value of their 1st party data and audience.
As a Digital Media Manager you will support Digital Executives with the day-to-day set-up, management and pacing of campaigns, as well as maintaining best-practice processes are in place to keep the team as efficient as possible. You will be a support the Media Director in delivering media revenue targets and superior performance (ROI) for advertisers across the short, mid and long term.
We have a Hybrid Working approach across the business and for this role you will be required to work from our London office at least 1- 2 times a week.
What you'll be doing
We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. This is a newly created role in the business because of new client wins in North America. As such, the scope of the role is broad in nature, but will likely include:
- Strategy and proposition contribution – Contribute to strategic objectives of the North America media team. This includes key involvement in highly-visible, fast-paced projects to get new advertising capabilities off the ground, from scratch.
- Commercial leadership – being responsible for our North American paid media campaigns, suggesting positive ways to maximise profitability for both Threefold and our retail partners, and growing income sustainably.
- Team leadership – leading a newly-created team of 2x Digital Executive (direct reports). You will define the direction and agenda of where they focus their time, creating and managing their workplans, building their capability and owning their career management.
- Partner management – forge relationships with a range of media owners (e.g. Meta, The Trade Desk, Google) and Ad Tech partners (e.g. Criteo, LiveRamp), ensuring we create trusted, collaborative relationships that are commercially-beneficial for all.
- Campaign planning – overseeing your team of Executives to build detailed, data-led media plans for clients using third-party and in-house tools, focusing on determining the optimum use for their media budgets.
- Advertising operations – responsible for the buying, execution and optimisation of paid media campaigns, to ensure a smooth delivery and seamless client experience.
- Wider Agency capability building playing a role in building the Media capability across the total agency, ensuring that everyone at all levels has the right capability to win within their field of work.
What you'll need to have / be
We are looking for an experienced hire at Manager level who can demonstrate core trading and management skills. Previous experience in Programmatic and Paid Social is essential, with experience in Retail Media / Commerce Advertising being advantageous.
Specifically, the candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience using advertising platforms to set-up, manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns.
- A proven track record in delivering a high number of digital campaigns in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Practical, analytical and pragmatic expertise – with the ability to think big picture but dive into detail when required.
- Experience of developing data-driven performance advertising solutions for CPGs.
- Agile mindset with the ability to shift priorities with ease.
- Coaching and development of a small high performing team.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to work seamlessly with data & financial reporting.
- The ability to work with multiple senior stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver breakthrough results.

The process
- We will invite you to a first interview which we try to keep relatively informal, so it gives you the opportunity to share your authentic self. The hiring team will be looking to understand more about your experience and why you're interested in working with us.
